2 Trophies at the Geographe & WA Alternative Varieties Wine Show 2023

We are delighted to announce that Millbrook Winery has been awarded two Trophies at the Labelmakers Group, WA Alternative Varieties Wine Show 2023 (formerly known as Geographe & WA Alternative Varieties Wine Show). This remarkable feat adds to Millbrook's success for the wine show season, with three Trophies being awarded so far.

The coveted Trophies were awarded to:  

• 2023 Regional Fiano - Best WA Alternative Variety White
• 2022 Single Vineyard Chardonnay - Best Geographe Chardonnay

Winemaker Emma Gillespie expressed her enthusiasm about the win, stating, "We are thrilled to receive recognition with these two prestigious trophies. Given the exceptional calibre of the judging panel and the impressive array of wines showcased from this diverse region of wine varietals, it means a lot to be honoured as the best in their categories."

Since its inception in 2002, the Geographe Wine Show has evolved into a highly esteemed annual event, highlighting the top producers from Western Australia's most diverse wine region. With just 18 gold medals awarded from over 210 submissions, only the best wines from the Geographe wine region and Western Australia’s alternative variety producers were awarded with gold.
