Winter is when most citrus fruits are at their sweetest and juiciest. Our 90 year old citrus orchard is positively brimming with life and colour at the moment!
Our three favourites at the moment:
- Grapefruit which are being used as part of the winter menus. The mouth-watering acidity means that they're a great way to liven up a dish.
- Oranges which are going in to our desserts and being turned into preserves to use over the next few months.
- Mandarins which (if they make it past Guy's snacking in the garden) are going into as many dishes as possible because they're so delicious!
