These wines—the very best produced at Millbrook—are only ever made in the best years and the range is ever-changing based on the varieties that excel in particular vintages. The range comprises Chardonnay, Shiraz, Durif and Pedro Ximénez.
“Gosh, this is an exceptional Chardonnay,” Ray Jordan says in The West Australian Wine Guide 2017 of the 2014 Millbrook Limited
These wines are 100% made from estate fruit grown on the Jarrahdale property and are the epitome of the best the Perth Hills wine region has to offer. The range comprises Viognier, Shiraz Viognier and Cabernet.
In The West Australian Wine Guide 2017, Ray Jordan describes the 2013 Millbrook Estate Shiraz Viognier as “one of the very best of this combination of varieties I have tasted from any Australian producer”.
For this range, Millbrook actively sources fruit from select vineyards across Western Australia that are best suited to particular varieties. These wines are made to be consumed usually within five years of release and represent outstanding value for money.
The range comprises Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Arneis, Vermentino, Riesling, Tempranillo, Petit Verdot, Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Malbec, Sangiovese and Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre.
"Loaded with crunchy tropical fruit splashed liberally with passionfruit and juicy lemon, it has a beautiful purity with fine persistency sustained by crisp delicate acidity," Ray Jordan says of the 2016 Regional Sauvignon Blanc in The West Australian Wine Guide 2017.
The wines in this range—named after the owls that can often be found in the jarrah forest surrounding the winery or perched on the vineyard rows—are easy drinking, modern styles, designed to match with a broad range of cuisines. The range comprises Semillon Sauvignon Blanc,
Chardonnay and Shiraz.
