millbrook winery restaurant featured in latest gault & millau guide

The talents of head chef and gardener Guy Jeffreys and his team have caught the attention of the judges for the 2019 Gault & Millau awards, with the restaurant awarded two 'toques' (chefs' hats) in the latest digital edition.

Gault & Millau was established by two French restaurant critics in 1965 and has since become a recognised authority in many countries around the globe. The points awarded are focussed on the quality of the food served, although the service and ambience can still make key criteria for an establishment's inclusion in the guide.

Of Millbrook Winery, the judges said:

"Proud of his home-grown fruits, vegetables and herbs, Chef Jeffreys structures his menu around the seasonal harvest...The food is simply divine … no fuss, the products are well respected."
