The West Australian Good Food Guide 2017 have finally confirmed what everyone at Millbrook has known for years, naming our very own Head Chef, Guy Jeffreys, Chef of the Year.
The judges praised Guy as “an exceptional professional ... plating up food that is memorable, creative and generous”. They were also impressed with his dedication to sourcing the whole menu from the Millbrook kitchen garden and from selected local producers, highlighting the fact that the Millbrook kitchen hasn't placed a vegetable order for more than a year.
Guy was “amazed and over the moon - it’s a great feeling to be recognised in such a way in front of all your peers.” He also praised the work of his "awesome team" at Millbrook.
